WALDWICK, N.J. — Lada St. Edmund made men’s hearts flutter as a 17-year-old go-go dancer on the NBC musical variety show “Hullabaloo” in 1965. On black-and-white and even some color televisions, she was a 5-foot-3 ½-inch bundle of energy perched in a cage, arms swinging, hips shaking, blonde hair bouncing, the fringe on her minidress flying.

Lada St. Edmund, who has trained boxing athletes among her clients, will begin training this month to become a boxing referee for USA Boxing Metro.
